h-trak adopts a highly integrated approach within hospitals. Achieving success requires that h-trak is complementary to other core systems and processes. We have achieved this strategy within virtually all customer implementations. This results in rapid ROI and benefits measured in multiples of the investment. Billing revenue alone in many instances has seen more than 100% improvement.
- Saves cost by automating purchasing and inventory management
- Increases revenue by improving billing
- Improves clinical reporting processes and quality
- Improves reporting on procedure costs and revenue
- Provides analytics to develop KPIs and improve management of your business
Prior to h-trak, the management of prostheses at St John of God Bunbury Hospital Operating Suite was largely manual and a very time consuming process utilising hand written registers for prostheses and the manual replenishment of stock. h-trak has simplified patient billing processes and increased the accuracy, capture and revenue for prostheses.
Additionally, h-trak has given us control over our inventory, resulting in better stock management. The auto-replenishment of stock has significantly reduced episodes of ‘last minute’ urgent and costly expediting of prostheses and medical goods, resulting in the flow on effect of financial and time saving benefits for the hospital. From meticulous preplanning through to execution, training and ongoing support, h-trak is not only an exceptional product, but in conjunction with their outstanding commitment to customer service, they have exceeded all expectations.
The h-trak system has provided many clinical and business process improvements in phase 1 of the implementation across the Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD). The functionality of automated Inventory and revenue transactions has mitigated risk associated with the previous manual paper system. Through the change-management of clinicians and administration staff, the h-trak management team has provided outstanding support and experience. The project success has been so significant the WSLHD is expanding the h-trak system into ICU to compliment the implementation already completed in Operating Theatres, Cath Labs, Imaging and Endoscopy.
The level of product development, local customisation and ongoing support h-trak has provided RMH since 2010 when the system was installed has been extremely impressive. h-trak has consistently demonstrate over this time that they are a customer focused organisation, who not only listen but respond to customer needs. This has resulted in the h-trak product itself continually evolving over time to meet new clinical and operational requirements.
"We implemented h-trak to improve stock usage and control. It has evolved into a system which also improves patient safety and produces detailed costing information."
