NHS Procurement Congress focuses on Resilience & Service Recovery

We were delighted to attend the 2022 HCSA Annual Conference recently, which was held on 22nd & 23rd November in Manchester.

Our UK h-trak Team exhibited at the Manchester Central Convention Complex, the same location as the Patient Safety Congress just a month before, though this time we were meeting over 700 healthcare procurement professionals and suppliers at this annual event, which is hosted by the Health Care Supply Association.

In its 62nd year, the HCSA event’s theme focused on delivering service recovery and resilience within the NHS’ Procurement discipline. This year’s packed agenda provided delegates with an ideal opportunity to network; get the latest updates from across the Department of Health and the NHS, and hear from experts on how NHS Procurement departments can meet the current supply chain challenges.

From an h-trak perspective we were able to engage with key decision makers and discuss ways that h-trak can help with the service recovery process. h-trak data supports efficient theatre utilisation, manages inventory, reduces waste, provides accurate procedure costs and tracks implants, as well as delivering cost savings.

The timing of the event was perfect, as we have just gone live in the Orthopaedic suite at the Queen’s Hospital in Burton, which is part of the University Hospitals of Derby & Burton NHS Foundation Trust – and recently gone live in the Interventional Radiology department at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust.

We were pleased to be able to share this news with NHS managers who visited our booth.
