Another ‘Go Live’ in Renowned UK Spa Town

It’s been a great start to 2020 with yet another h-trak ‘Go Live’ – this time in the General Theatre suite at Cheltenham General Hospital, set in a beautiful Georgian spa town.

Comprising six theatres, covering General, Breast, Cardioversion, Central Lines, Gynaecology, Urology and Vascular surgery, this latest implementation brings the number of procedure areas using h-trak to 29 across the Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Having witnessed how effective h-trak has been in the Eyford Unit in the same hospital and at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, the adoption by the clinical and Genmed procurement teams has been very straightforward.  Such positivity makes such a difference to any implementation process.

The whole implementation has been a real pleasure and we are delighted that the theatre suite is using now h-trak to the full by tracking implants and consumables at patient level; logging timings and staff levels, and managing stock and replenishment.
